Paloschi to leave on loan

AD 1 7/16/2008

Milan starlet Alberto Paloschi has asked to be sent out on loan after the Diavolo confirmed the arrival of Ronaldinho.

Paloschi was the hero for Italy’s Under-19 side at the start of the week as he scored a crucial equaliser against Greece in their European Championship clash.

But the 18-year-old would be unlikely to receive much playing time next term and the arrival of Dinho seems to have made it certain that Paloschi will be loaned out.

“It’s much better like this because now there is no doubt that I will be sent somewhere else to play,” Paloschi told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I prefer that situation and I have been asking for that to happen for a while anyway.

“I’m hoping that it will just be a loan to a team where there I can find some space and get a game.”

Sampdoria are said to be keen to bring Paloschi in on a temporary basis, whereas Reggina are aiming for a co-ownership agreement.
